GAZ

Gaz’s authentic, human, everyday self is one of routine and pleasure. He's Jonny's best friend. Fetish lover and all, Gaz strikes us as open-minded. he makes the perfect match with Donna. ‘He’s an honest, jovial friend who’s super quick to catch jokes. Other than being a macho guy, he’s a huge Manchester City fan. Gaz doesn’t like grand ambitions, or feelings — he likes simple things, like friends and a beer. He is what you’d expect a man to be – plain, crude, and solid. Gaz would be someone you’d laugh with and want to meet.


Jonny

Jonny is normally laid back, happy with his daily grind, and content in his own skin. He's Gaz's best friend. Talk is usually fun and casual, about your day, football, or town gossip. They are a perfect fit for Janet and sanity is less than optimal. Ambition is not what drives him; he values the group, laughter, the comfort of his favourite bar and ritual. Jonny is the "man of the people", accessible, human, and perfectly decent.


Donna 

Donna is an earthy, unpretentious woman.
Janet and Louise are her closest friends. Donna is fiercely self-reliant and doesn’t hide her opinions. Donna was labeled independent and Feminist until she dated GAz and they became a couple. Her Mum drives her insane at times. Tough as nails, she’s the friend you always want around, giving you advice and a good laugh. The low-key facade hides a warmth and simple kindness that immediately make her instantly likable and adored by everyone that has a pint next to her.


Janet 

Jonny and Janet are a pair for whom cleanliness is not a top priority. 

She is shit-free, straightforward and fiercely committed to Jonny until she cheated on him with Gaz. She is Donna’s and Louise’s best friend. She wears what’s comfortable. Janet is not much of an intellectual, but she’s a sarcastic no-nonsense kind of person. She never makes excuses, she always states her opinion directly and is pretty critical of anything grand. She is content with the little things, and enjoys connection over social status.


Louise 

Louise possesses a captivating allure.
One of Donna and Janet’s best friends. She is an elegant woman who has taste. Louise, even as a student, is surprisingly naive. She encounters different peole while looking for a suitable lover. None of whom quite satisfy her.


Flo, Donna's Mother

Donna’s mother, Flo, is a former model for magazines such as "Readers Wives" and "Pregnant Mums".
Flo is fascinated by Donna’s boyfriend, Gaz. Even so, she gives Donna a helping hand when it comes to relationships with him. Flo also had an affair with Janet’s father, Pete, a relationship that eventually forces Pete to allow Janet to marry Jonny.
